We seek a highly skilled and dedicated private house personal assistant to support the household operation of an international high-net-worth family in Parklane. This position offers the opportunity to work in a large, fully staffed household under the guidance of a House Manager. This is not a remote role, and daily commuting to Mayfair is required.

Job Description: As a House Personal Assistant, your core responsibilities will include:
 
Procurement
 Managing household purchasing requests, including sourcing suppliers and ensuring timely order delivery.

  • Conducting quantity checks and properly storing items)
  • Developing and maintaining a database of suppliers.
  • Coordinate with overseas and London teams to facilitate item transfers between houses and maintain accurate records.

 
Inventory Management:

  • Collaborating with the Butler and Housekeeping team to maintain up-to-date inventory records of wine, spare equipment, and household items.
  • Ensuring adequate stock levels to support daily operations.
  • Maintaining a breakage report and promptly reporting discrepancies to the House Manager.
  • Regularly inspecting storage areas to ensure everything is in order.

 
Cash Management:
 Adhering to Petty Cash policies and managing the house petty cash account with accurate record-keeping.

  • Providing weekly and monthly reconciliation reports to the Accounting Manager.
  • Reporting any discrepancies to the House Manager.

Packing & Unpacking:

  • Travel Packing Supervision:
  • Overseeing the principal's travel packing process, ensuring all required items are packed asper their preferences.
  • Maintaining an updated packing list based on the principal's requirements.
  • Ensuring travel essentials pouches are refilled promptly after each trip along with the lady’s maid assistance 
  • Informing the House Manager when packing is complete and forwarding detailed information to relevant teams.

 
Gifting:
 Collaborating with the Private PA to arrange gifts, including wrapping, purchasing, and delivery.

  • Updating the gift inventory accordingly.
  • Updating the gifting SOP's as per client preferences & maintaining proper record to all received & sent gifts.

 
Administration:

  • Maintaining the house appointment calendar.
  • Preparing daily reports for the principal and sharing them with relevant team members 
  • Keeping up-to-date records of the principal's preferences and sharing them with relevant teams.

 
Candidate Requirements:

Qualifications/Training:
 

  • Professional administrative qualification (desirable but not essential).
  • Working in previous household operations is a must. 
  • Current DBS check.

Days of Work, Accommodation, and Salary:

  • Working Days: 5-day workweek, totalling 48 hours per week (possible additional hours including weekends).
  • Salary Range: £60,000-£65,000 (dependent on background and experience).
