A delightful elderly lady living in a beautiful private home in St John's Wood is seeking an experienced, kind and reliable Tagalog-speaking Housekeeper / Companion to provide support at weekends.
The successful candidate will work alongside the family's long-standing weekday Housekeeper, who was placed by Town & Country Staff, ensuring continuity of care and maintaining the high standards already established within the household.
The principal lives alone with her small dog and is an excellent cook, so only very light food preparation may occasionally be required. This is a lovely long-term position for someone who enjoys working in a calm, respectful household and providing companionship as well as practical support.

Job Description
- Providing warm companionship throughout the weekend.
- General light housekeeping to maintain the home to a high standard.
- Laundry and light ironing as required.
- Keeping the kitchen and living areas clean and tidy.
- Very basic food preparation if required.
- Feeding the family dog and letting him into the garden.
- Running occasional local errands, such as visiting the supermarket or pharmacy.
- Assisting with the smooth running of the household as required.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a Tagalog speaker.
- Have at least three years' experience working within a private household.
- Have excellent, checkable references.
- Be kind, cheerful, discreet and reliable.
- Be organised and proactive with a positive attitude.
- Be comfortable around dogs.
- Be legally entitled to work in the UK.
Days of Work & Salary
- Saturday and Sunday.
- Hours: 8:30am – 7:00pm each day.
- Salary: £21.50 gross per hour, negotiable depending on experience.
