Vacancy Description

Family and Job Description:

We are seeking a highly polished VVIP Travelling Butler to support an international businessman with multiple global residences. The role focuses on refined personal service, wardrobe and packing management, residence continuity, and maintaining a calm, elegant environment wherever the principal is. This is not a PA, driver, or security position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wardrobe care, seasonal organisation, and precise packing/unpacking
  • Maintain personal items and daily essentials across all locations
  • Travel in advance to prepare residences and hotel suites for arrival
  • Ensure continuity of comfort, routine and standards across destinations
  • Provide refined informal table service and support for private meals
  • Liaise with household teams, concierge, travel personnel and security

Hours:

Hours will naturally fluctuate in line with travel and principal movements; however, when in residence the schedule is generally around 9 am to 5 pm with flexibility expected as part of a senior private service role.

Ideal Candidate:

  • UHNW private household or European estate background
  • Expert garment care and packing systems; immaculate standards
  • Calm, discreet, emotionally intelligent; extensive international-travel fit
  • Fluent English (additional languages welcome)

Requirements:

  • Eligible to live and work in Canada—or willing to obtain status with employer sponsorship
  • 8 + years’ senior private-service experience at UHNW level
  • Willing to travel extensively (majority of the time)

Salary & Package:

$145,000–$205,000 CAD
(approx. £85,000–£120,000 GBP / $110,000–$150,000 USD)

  • Full sponsorship and support for Canadian work authorisation (LMIA / Work Permit) with legal counsel and all fees covered
  • Accommodation provided during relocation & probation, then assistance to secure local housing
  • Car provided for use while on duty
  • All international travel and duty-related expenses covered

Town & Country Domestic Staff is committed to equal opportunities and welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates, regardless of background, age, disability, gender, or beliefs.
