Family Description and Location

A mature British couple are looking for an experienced couple to look after their home. They live in a large well-appointed town house in St John’s Wood which is a very pleasant and green suburb of London and are a formal couple. They have two large dogs and a cat. You will answer to the principle and also be working with a Private PA who works out of the house. They also have a daily housekeeper from Monday – Friday.

Job Description

Housekeeper

Looking & cleaning after numbers of bedrooms to a high standard level, kitchen, living rooms, bathrooms & hallways etc.
Polishing & cleaning Antiques, Ornaments to the high standard as the host requires.
Laying and (serving at table – on occasionally and when entertaining).
Taking care & cleaning the right furniture using the right chemicals such as tables, chairs, beds & wardrobes etc.
Vacuuming, sweeping, emptying trash cans, dusting shelves, managing wardrobes, laundry, ironing, mopping floors etc.
Family Cooking
Some pet care including feeding, walking.

Gardener, Chauffeur, Houseman

Driving family daily basis around Central London.
Planning routes & alternative routes using local road maps.
Maintaining, cleaning vehicle in a spotless condition
Operate with power machines namely mowers, blowers, sweepers, plant diggers with safety precautions.
Planting flowers by season, pruning, trimming, watering, lawn mowing etc.
Making sure that around the house is always clean to the high standards.
Deal with house security such as alarm, fire alarm etc.
Some pet care including feeding, walking and grooming.
Maintaining swimming pool room: plants, floor cleaning etc.

Candidate Requirements

You must be an experienced couple that have worked together and have checkable references.
The man must have a driving license.
The woman to be an experienced cook that can produce food daily.
A Tagalog or Portuguese speaking couple would be a bonus.

Days of Work, Accommodation and Salary

Approx Monday – Friday 8am -1pm and 5 -7 pm – approximately one late evening a week when entertaining.
Saturday 8am -1pm
Accommodation is -a living room/dining room, bedroom, private bathroom, and kitchen with separate entrance/exit. (not suitable for pets or dependents)
All expenses paid (council tax, TV licence, maintenance, gas, electricity, heating, etc.)
4 week paid holiday to home of origin including the fare.
Use of the car on and off duty
£500 - £600 per week net (65K-£80K dependent on skill set and references)
One and a half days off weekly – but not always Saturday /Sunday.
