Job Description
- Preparing and serving daily breakfasts, lunches and dinners as required
- Creating varied, healthy and high-protein menus
- Working alongside Georgia's nutritionist to ensure meals align with nutritional and macro requirements
- Preparing healthy snacks throughout the day
- Managing all menu planning and food sourcing
- Completing all household food shopping and supplier management
- Organising deliveries and maintaining stock levels
- Preparing and presenting a weekly healthy buffet lunch for approximately 12–14 guests every Wednesday
- Maintaining the kitchen to an exceptional standard at all times
- Managing food storage, stock rotation and kitchen organisation
- Liaising closely with the housekeeper to ensure smooth household operations
- Batch preparing and managing the family's dog food requirements
- Accompanying the family on domestic travel when required
- The family enjoys fresh, healthy and nutritious food with a strong focus on quality ingredients and balanced nutrition, including organic produce, wild-caught fish, grass-fed meats, high-protein meals, healthy snacks and modern, nutritious cooking with excellent presentation.
- The family travels to Scotland on alternate weeks, typically from Sunday to Tuesday, and the successful candidate will be expected to accompany them during these trips.
- Bank Holidays will be worked when the family is in residence, with time off in lieu provided.
- When the principals are away, the chef will receive two days off in lieu.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum one year's experience working as a Private Chef within a HNW or UHNW household
- Strong understanding of healthy nutrition-focused cooking
- Confident menu planner with excellent organisational skills
- Experience shopping for and sourcing premium ingredients
- Professional, discreet and trustworthy
- Calm, positive and adaptable personality
- Excellent kitchen management and food hygiene standards
- Able to work independently and take full ownership of the role
- Comfortable working closely with other household staff
- Happy to travel with the family as required
Days of Work and Salary
- Monday to Friday plus every other weekend.
- Two working patterns are operated depending on the family's schedule.
- 10:00am – 6:30pm
- Preparing and serving lunch and dinner and preparing breakfast for the following morning.
- 7:30am – 4:30pm
- Preparing and serving breakfast and lunch and preparing dinner to be enjoyed later in the evening.
- Regular travel to Scotland on alternate weeks.
- Up to £55,000 gross per annum depending on experience.
- Immediate start available.
