Family Description & LocationA busy working mother based in Finchley, North London, is seeking a Temporary Nanny to cover her current nanny’s sick leave. The role will run for approximately three months (with the possibility of extension depending on recovery progress). The family have two children aged 8 and 13 years.

Job Description
The nanny will provide after-school care and support for the children, ensuring their routines run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- School runs from Finchley to High Barnet (driver with own car essential; petrol reimbursed)
- Supervising homework and assisting with organisation of school bags and activities
- Preparing and cooking healthy meals for the children
- Supporting daily routines and ensuring a safe, structured environment
- (Optional) Extra hours available if willing to help with ironing and light housekeeping
Candidate Requirements
- Confident driver with own car (petrol and parking covered)
- Local candidate preferred for ease of commute and knowledge of the area
- Previous experience caring for school-aged children
- First Aid qualified
- Excellent, checkable references essential
- Spanish or French speaker would be a bonus for homework support
Days of Work & Salary
- Monday, Tuesday & Friday – 3pm to 7.30pm
- Hours may be extended for light housekeeping/ironing if desired
- £18–20 gross per hour
- Start: ASAP until December/January
