Job Description
This is a genuine combined Nanny/Housekeeper role and would suit an experienced candidate who is equally confident caring for school-aged children and maintaining a clean, organised family home.
Duties will include:
- Shared care of the children alongside the mother
- School runs and general after-school care
- Preparing simple, healthy family dinners
- General housekeeping and cleaning
- Family laundry and ironing
- Children’s laundry and organisation
- Weekly bed linen changes
- Keeping bedrooms and living areas tidy and organised
- Receiving deliveries
- Helping with the general day-to-day running of the household
- General nursery duties relating to the children
The successful candidate will be the sole housekeeper during the working week.
Candidate Requirements
The family is looking for someone warm, trustworthy, discreet, reliable and genuinely happy to work as part of a family household.
Applicants should have:
- Fluent or native Lithuanian or French
- At least 3–5 years’ private household experience
- Strong housekeeping experience
- Good experience caring for children of a similar age
- Confidence preparing simple family meals
- A proactive and organised approach
- Excellent references
- The right to work in the UK
- A straightforward commute to Notting Hill

Days of Work, Accommodation and Salary
Monday to Friday
Working hours: approximately 1:00pm to 7:30/8:00pm
Approximately 32.5–35 hours per week.
Live-out position.
Salary: £22–£25 per hour gross PAYE, depending on experience.
Start: ASAP, although the family is prepared to wait up to two months for the right candidate.
