Vacancy Description
Family Description & Location:
A warm and welcoming UHNW family are seeking a kind, experienced and professional Nanny to join their household on a long-term basis. The role is based at their beautifully run private estate in Staffordshire.
This is a fully staffed home, and the family also spend time across multiple residences including London, the South of France, the USA, and aboard their private yacht.
The family have three children aged 3, 5 and 12 years, and are looking for a Nanny who can become a consistent, positive and trusted presence in their lives.
Job Description:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Nanny who is looking to build a long-term relationship with a family and support the children’s development at every stage.
Responsibilities will include maintaining daily routines, organising age-appropriate activities and playdates, and supporting both early years development and school-aged learning. You will liaise with nurseries, schools and healthcare providers when required, and assist with preparing healthy meals for the children, and occasionally for the family.
The household is fully staffed, including a long-standing Nanny of over 10 years, so it is essential that you are a strong team player who can integrate seamlessly into an established environment.
The role includes regular travel with the family, along with some nursery duties and light housekeeping relating to the children. Flexibility is important, particularly when the family are in residence, including occasional weekend work (time off in lieu provided).
Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be experienced, warm, organised and confident caring for children from early years through to early teens.
• Strong knowledge of early years development and confident supporting school-aged children with homework
• Excellent spoken English to support language development
• A warm, energetic and organised approach
• A flexible, proactive and can-do attitude
• Happy to assist with nursery duties and ad hoc household tasks when required
• Passport with no travel restrictions and willingness to travel internationally (approximately 4–10 weeks per year)
• Driving is beneficial (estate car provided), but not essential
• Excellent references and a stable employment history
Days of Work, Accommodation and Salary:
• Days/Hours: 5 days per week (Monday to Friday) with flexibility for occasional weekends (time off in lieu)
• Working Pattern: Primarily mornings and evenings around school terms, with adjusted hours during school holidays
• Total Weekly Hours: 50 hours
• Accommodation: Live-in or live-out with separate accommodation provided
• Salary: £40,000–£45,000 gross per annum (negotiable for the right candidate)
• Start Date: ASAP or flexible for the right candidate
