Mayfair – Part-Time Housekeeper (Flexible) £25 per hour

Family Description & Location

A single American businessman is moving into a brand new luxury apartment in Mayfair, London (a short walk from Hyde Park Corner and Green Park stations). The property is approximately 970 sq ft. The principal will be in residence in London for up to six months of the year.

Job Description

• Full housekeeping to a high standard
• Laundry and ironing, including care of quality garments
• Changing bed linen and towels
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-presented home
• Weekly maintenance clean when the principal is out of residence
• Advising on and overseeing the sourcing and initial set-up of premium cleaning products and household equipment, ensuring the property is fully appointed and maintained to an excellent standard

When the principal is in residence:

• 3–4 hours per visit
• 1–2 visits per week (flexible, with potential for additional visits as required)
• When the principal is out of residence:
• 1 visit per week for general upkeep

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience working within private households
• High attention to detail and strong housekeeping standards
• Discreet, trustworthy, and reliable
• Able to work independently and manage own time
• Flexible and adaptable to changing requirements
• Strong laundry and ironing skills

Days of Work, Accommodation and Salary

• Flexible part-time role
• 1–2 visits per week
• Approximately 3–4 hours per visit
• Salary: £25 per hour
• Self-employed basis preferred
• Start Date: Beginning of June
