Live in Housekeeper S/C Basement Flat £45K

Family Description and Location:

A professional international couple are looking for an experienced housekeeper to work alongside their Butler House Manager whom also lives at the property.    They also have a German shepherd that lives at the property. The property is a large town house which is a 15-minute walk from Sloane Square Station and very close to the King’s Road.

Job Description:

A typical day in the house starts with breakfast at 7:15am with a dog walk at 7:30am. Whilst the family have breakfast they like the bedroom and sitting rooms to be reset.  Lunch is at 12:30 and then there is a dog walk 4pm, dinner at 6pm and a final dog walk at 7pm. These duties will be shared with the house manager and breaks will be taken in between these duties throughout the day.   The family travel extensively so there is lots of down time and much shorter days when the family are not in residence.

• Housekeeping to a high standard
• Laundry, ironing, and some handwashing
• Taking items to dry cleaners.
• Letting the House Manager know if there are any issues such as leaks or lightbulbs that need changing
• The house manager cooks but some simple food preparation would be welcomed

• Assisting at a dinner party a few times a year
• Dealing with Contractors, tradesmen and dealing with deliveries
• Filling in for the house manager when they are travelling with the principles.
• Dog walking duties to be shared with the house manager

Candidate Requirements:

This is a role for someone that would like to make the flat their permanent home and live there full time not just 5 days per week.  Between you and the house manager someone needs to be at the residence 7 days a week so you can have time away but it is preferable that you live there full time

Days of Work, Accommodation and Salary:

• Monday – Friday with a half day on Saturday when the client is in residence.
• time off in lieu when clients travel
• 7am – 7pm with at least a 2-hour break in the day.
• S/C basement studio flat with separate entrance and own cooking facilities and shower.
• £40-£45k with full contract, holidays, tax and NI paid.
• Immediate start but will wait for the right person.
