Family Description and Location

A Friendly British are looking for a  country loving Housekeeper to come and work for them. They live in a little village which is close to Corby, Oundle & Peterborough (45-minute fast train to London). A recently renovated rectory with 7 bedrooms over 4 floors including a basement and a home gym. 1 teenager (14) who live at the house full time and family and friends who come and visit. 2 dogs (10-year-old collie and 3-year-old cocker spaniel) 2 outdoor cats approximately 12 chickens. This is their permanent home set in 25 acres  The family travel a lot and plan to use their residence in London more often.

Job Description

• Housekeeping to a high standard
• Dog walking
• Ironing/Laundry
• Taking deliveries
• Online shopping (unpacking and cleaning fridges)
• Preparing guest bedrooms
• Provisioning for the house and replenishing stock
• Some basic family cooking.
• Laying table

Candidate Requirements

You need to be a warm, friendly, and experienced housekeeper that is happy to work in a busy household with dogs. You will need checkable written references and be looking for longevity in a role. A driving licence will be required.

Days of Work, accommodation, and Salary
 

• Beautiful cottage – on two floors, bedroom, and bathroom en suite. Large lounge and woodfire burner, WC and kitchen. 75 meters from the main house with separate entrance.
• (Not suitable for partners or children – Small pet will be considered)
• All bills paid.
• Monday – Friday
• 8:30am – 6:30pm with a break.
• If client is away for weekend, then any dog sitting will be booking in advance and paid as an extra.
• £43 Full contract with Tax and NI paid.
• Car for use on duty
• ASAP but will wait for the right person.
