Live-In Caretaker Housekeeper – 5 Days – £50,000 Gross

Family Description & Location:

A large overseas Middle Eastern family who live abroad and use their Mayfair property as a second home are seeking an experienced and professional Live-In Caretaker Housekeeper to join their established household team.
The property is fully staffed, including two daily housekeepers and a Private PA/House Manager. When the family are in residence, they travel with additional staff such as chefs. This is a well-run, team-oriented household. There are no pets, and no travel is required for this role.

Job Description:

This is a hands-on housekeeping role combined with light caretaker responsibilities, ensuring the smooth running of the property both when the family are in residence and when they are abroad.
• Maintaining the property to a consistently high standard
• Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care
• Running general errands as required
• Serving drinks and light refreshments when needed
• Letting in and overseeing contractors
• Covering the Houseman on their days off
• Supporting the wider household team when required

Candidate Requirements:

• Tagalog-speaking essential
• Proven experience working within a private household
• Strong references and a stable work history
• Team player with a flexible and proactive attitude
• High standards of housekeeping and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a structured, fully staffed household

Days of Work, Accommodation and Salary:

• 5 days per week, 2 days off (rota basis)
• Weekend work required on a rota depending on the family’s schedule
• Average of 40 hours per week as per contract
• During short periods when the family are in residence, hours typically increase to 7:00am – 7:00pm with a 2-hour break
• Significantly shorter working hours when the family are abroad
• Overtime is offered as time off in lieu when applicable
• Live-in accommodation provided: private bedroom and bathroom within a well-presented staff area, with shared sitting room and kitchen
• £50,000 gross per annum, PAYE with full contract and benefits
• 28 days holiday including bank holidays
• Immediate start available, though the client is happy to wait for the right candidate
