Family Description & Location:
A prominent international family based in Mayfair, Central London is seeking a highly experienced, discreet, and exceptionally professional Private Chauffeur to join their long-standing household team.
The role requires someone already living within an easy daily commute to Mayfair and fully accustomed to the pace, expectations, and confidentiality required in an HNW environment.
This is a full-time position involving a 6-day rota, early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and occasional international travel. The successful candidate will deliver the very highest standards of service, safety, and professional conduct at all times.
Job Description:
This is a hands-on and demanding chauffeur role requiring advanced driving skills, excellent judgement, strong security awareness, and deep knowledge of London.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing safe, punctual, and seamless transportation for the Principals and their family
- Driving for business meetings, social engagements, school runs, airport transfers (commercial & private aviation)
- Planning and executing complex itineraries with exceptional route knowledge of Central London and surrounding areas
- Navigating efficiently during high-traffic periods and adapting routes instantly without reliance on GPS
- Full management of a luxury vehicle fleet including Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Ferrari and high-spec SUVs
- Ensuring all vehicles remain in immaculate condition inside and out
- Overseeing servicing, MOTs, tyre checks, repairs, insurance, and compliance documentation
- Managing any fines/tickets and liaising with local authorities where required
- Daily safety checks, vehicle readiness and fuel management
- Strong responsibility for the safe transport of children, including school and activity runs
- Supporting the household with errands, luggage handling, deliveries and ad-hoc tasks
- Providing a calm, protective and security-aware presence during all journeys
- Maintaining the highest levels of discretion, confidentiality and professional appearance
- Flexibility to adjust hours at short notice to match the Principal’s schedule (with overtime or TOIL)
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Private Chauffeur within an HNW household, Royal household, or top-tier corporate environment
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Valid Transport for London (TfL) Private Hire Driver Licence (PHD licence required)
- Enhanced DBS in place or willingness to renew
- Exceptional knowledge of London, Home Counties, major airports and private airfields
- Advanced driving qualifications such as RoSPA, IAM or former Police/Military VIP training (highly desirable)
- Immaculate personal presentation and professional conduct
- Confident transporting children with full safety awareness
- Strong organisational skills, punctuality, and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Physical fitness to assist with luggage and manual handling
- Fluent English and strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a larger household team
- Full discretion and willingness to sign an NDA
Days of Work, Hours & Salary:
- Full-time role; 6-day rota

- Overtime or time off in lieu provided where applicable
- Competitive salary £60,000–£75,000 depending on experience
