Daily Morning Filipino-Speaking Housekeeper – St John’s Wood – Start Now or Within Two Weeks

Family Description and Location

A lovely single lady living in St John’s Wood is looking for an experienced Filipino-speaking Daily Morning Housekeeper to join her home on a fixed-term basis while her long-standing Housekeeper takes an extended period of leave to the Philippines.

She lives alone in a three-storey house very close to St John’s Wood Station and has a small dog, so candidates must be dog friendly.

The successful candidate can start immediately or within the next two weeks and will have the opportunity to work alongside and shadow the existing Housekeeper before she leaves, allowing for a thorough handover.

Job Description

The role will involve keeping the house to a high standard, including:

• General housekeeping and cleaning
• Hoovering and dusting
• Laundry and changing bed linen
• Keeping the home tidy and organised
• Receiving and unpacking online food deliveries
• Occasional errands to the local high street, including the dry cleaners or pharmacy
• Occasional Preparation of simple meals and serving them to the principle.

Candidate Requirements

• Candidates must be Filipino speaking and have a minimum of 3–5 years’ recent private household experience with good checkable references.
• You should be reliable, cheerful, organised and confident working independently. You must also be dog friendly and happy to work alongside the existing Housekeeper during the handover period.

Days of Work, Accommodation and Salary

• Monday to Friday
• 9.00am–2.00pm
• 25 hours per week
• £24 gross per hour
• Live-out
• Fixed-term placement from now or within the next two weeks until 1 February 2027.
• Please note that this placement will include Bank Holidays where they fall on a weekday.
