Job Description
- Keeping house and garden areas clean and tidy throughout the day.
- Identifying and reporting on works and repairs needed within the residence and reporting maintenance, faulty equipment etc.
- Assistance with luggage, packing and unpacking for journeys.
- Shopping and ad hoc errands as required.
- Sweeping and cleaning down all outside spaces and furnishings.
- Walking the dogs.
- Cleaning and grooming the dogs.
- Cleaning of the dog area.
- Preparation and serving of dog meals according to schedule.
- Replacing all bulbs in garden and house as needed.
- Organising rubbish and recycling.
- Keeping windows and glass doors cleaned and liaising with window cleaners.
- Some driving when required.
- Ad hoc errands
- Being able to travel when required.
Candidate Requirements
It is essential that you have worked as a Houseman in an executive style residence for at least 2 years with suitable references. You will need to be able to carry out general maintenance and have a 'can do' attitude. You will need to have a full driving licence and be confident to drive in London and abroad. You will take care of the dogs along with another person and be prepared to travel with short notice for long periods of time to Europe and America.
Working Days accommodation and Salary
- In this role you will be working a 5-day week – your working days will be on a rota basis with the other housekeepers and the houseman so you will get some weekends free you will also need to be able to work some weekends.
- Your accommodation is a self-contained flat with own entrain, bed bathroom and kitchen and sitting and own cooking facilities and all bills paid. (not suitable for partners or pets)
Salary is negotiable but will be in the region of £70K
