A talented, versatile, and creative Head Gardener with over 30 years’ experience of landscaping, garden design and woodland management for large public and private estates. Skilled in managing all aspects of garden care, including maintenance of lawns, herbaceous borders, topiary, tree management, ponds, and water courses. Combines hands-on experience with technical horticultural knowledge, year-round planning, and scheduling of visual features. Experienced in managing conservation related duties, installing new micro-irrigation systems, and delivering proactive support to new hires. Adept at establishing professional relationships with owners, senior managers and external bodies and is adept at leading, training and encouraging teams while ensuring health and safety guidelines are met. Skilled in prioritising tasks, is quick to identify areas for improvement, and initiating creative techniques to enhance grounds and displays while reducing costs.
