Family Description and Location
A young professional couple are looking for an experienced housekeeper to come and help them. They live in a 3-bedroom modern apartment on the South side of the River (12 minute walk from Blackfriars and Waterloo East and an 8 minute walk from Southwark Station. They have a lovely small Spaniel and no children that live at home. The live between their country residence and London and the dog travels with them so you will have busy weeks and then weeks where you will have time to do deep cleans etc.
Job Description
- You will need to make sure that the house is maintained to the highest standard including all housekeeping, cleaning and organising.
- You will also be in charge of all laundry, linen changes etc. The clients have extensive designer wardrobes so you will need to be adept and hand washing, care of fine fabrics and wardrobe maintenance.
- You will also to deal with deliveries and parcels and contractors and be very organsised
- You will also need to deal with Ocado deliveries, replenishing stock in the house and make sure that the fridges and pantries are stocked.
- You will need to be able to prepare simple meals and light snacks as requires such as eggs in the morning or a soup, salad or grilled fish in the evening etc.
- There will be pet care in this role during your hours of work including walking, feeding and possibly trips to the vet.
- Anything else required to make the house run smoothly.
Candidate Requirements
It is essential that you are an experienced housekeeper that has a really positive attitude and can work without direction to keep the house in excellent order. You will need good checkable references and be able to manage your time will.
Days of Work and Salary
- Monday – Friday
- 9am – 5:30pm
- Immediate start (can wait a maximum of 2 weeks)
- Up to £50K with contract and Tax and NI paid dependent on experience and references.
