Family Description and Location

A very friendly professional couple with two school aged children are looking for an experienced housekeeper cook to come and join them.  They live in a rural location on the outskirts of Sevenoaks in a large, detached country house surrounded by 5 acres of land.  They have gardeners and have a lovely kitchen garden and greenhouse with fresh produce. There are no pets at home and there is no childcare in this role.
 
Job Description
 
You will need to present the house to a high standard and organise the upkeep and maintenance of the home.  This will include laundry, ironing, general housekeeping and cleaning including spring and deep cleaning when clients travel.
 
The family also would like a family style supper left on the hob such as a delicious lasagne. They do entertain, so you will be asked to cook for dinner parties. The family eat very healthily and would like exciting menus with simple ingredients such as grilled meats, dynamic salads and lots of creative cooking with vegetables. They also love Ottolenghi style.
 
You will need to deal with deliveries, restocking and provisioning for the house and pantry, keeping the fridge and your kitchen clean and organised and the rest of the house running smoothly.
 
Candidate Requirements

It is essential that you are an experienced and professional housekeeper who is happy to cook on a daily basis.  The area is rural so you will need to be able to drive to get to and from work.
 
Days of Work and Salary
 

• Monday – Friday
• 40 hour working week
• 9am – 5pm (with a late start and finish if there is a dinner party to accommodate)
• £50K-£55K salary but would got to £60K for an exceptional candidate with a solid CV and excellent references.  Full contract, TAX and NI.
• Immediate start but will wait for the right person.
