PT Morning Housekeeper – 9am-1pm 4 or 5 days a week. No weekends £18-20 ph net- 20-25 hours pw

Family Description and Location:

A large family residence in the beautiful Wimbledon village, next to Wimbledon Common.  6 members of the family, retired parents and 4 adult children (no young children) who live elsewhere but visit often. The principles travel extensively to their various overseas homes.
 The residence has 5 bedrooms and a master suite, 6 bathrooms, 2 sitting rooms, 2 studies and large kitchen and an Orangery. A large laundry room and a boot room as well as a pool house with shower room set within the gardens.
The family have a very well-behaved Golden Retriever dog who likes regular walks and sometimes needs to go to vet for check-ups. When the principles are away the dog will either travel with them or be in kennels. 
 
Job Description:

• General housework/ cleaning
• Deep cleans.
• Ironing and household laundry
• Bedlinen changing once a week.
• Dog walking (when required) - they have one golden retriever well -behaved dog.
• Light kitchen duties aiding food prep (occasional)
• Some assistance with serving.
• General errands when required (eg. Take dog to vet, or collect parcel - all walkable from the house)

 
Candidate Requirements:

• You will need to be a able to clean to a high standard, be professional and have a courteous and calm manner. Ideally someone who can work 4 or 5 days a week, who is able to manage time efficiently, plan daily and weekly clean schedules.
• The principles travel a lot and so the new housekeeper must be able to use initiative and have common sense. 
• At times the housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring the residence is secure.
• Good communication skills are essential for this role as the housekeeper will need to report to the family office if there are any issues etc
• The applicant doesn’t need to drive, but there can be space available to park if they do.

  
Days of Work, Accommodation and Salary:

• 4-5 days a week – around 20 hours a week 
• 9am to 1pm (number of days will depend on candidate)
• start the middle of May (around May 12th)
• Full Contract with Tax and NI Paid
• £18-20 net per hour with taxes paid
• Full contract with holidays and bank holiday entitlement
