A Mayfair-based company managing a portfolio of private and commercial properties across Central and West London is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its busy and thriving team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and general upkeep of multiple private and commercial properties.
- Perform routine inspections, repairs, and general building maintenance.
- Conduct plant room and equipment checks, ensuring Building Management System (BMS) functionality.
- Supervise deliveries and coordinate external contractors.
- Carry out general maintenance tasks, including painting, decorating, and minor repairs.
- Maintain landscaping, grounds, and swimming pools to a high standard.
- Ensure safety systems, including fire alarms and emergency lighting, remain fully operational.
- Schedule routine servicing for appliances and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals and track annual maintenance schedules.
- Provide occasional out-of-hours support as required.
- Complete additional ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Multi-skilled in property maintenance and building compliance.
- Proven experience in residential and/or commercial property maintenance.
- Hands-on, proactive problem solver.
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Work Schedule, Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: £40,000+ (negotiable DOE)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday with flexibility for weekend emergencies.
