Family Description and Location

A lovely Brazilian-Slovak couple with a 3.5-year-old girl are looking for a Brazilian Portuguese speaking housekeeper/cook/nanny to come and work with them. Brazilian Portuguese is their daughter’s primary language. The family live in a 4 bedroom town house over 2 floors with a large garden.  The house is in Muswell Hill and there is free parking outside if you drive; otherwise the nearest stations are: Wood Green which is a 25min walk away or 18min bus ride. Nearest Railway station is Alexandra Palace which is a 15min walk or 12 min bus ride and takes you to Kings Cross in 15min.

Job Description

• Housekeeper and general upkeep of the house
• Laundry including washing, hand washing where needed, ironing, steaming, folding and organising clothes in the wardrobes.
• Cooking meals for the family (a main meal would be prepared daily for lunch and left ready for dinner).
• Keeping kitchen clean including handling dishes after meals
• Childcare as required when the little girl isn’t at nursery including feeding, playing, bathing, occasional nursery drop-offs and pickups etc. 

Candidate Requirements
It is important that you have worked in a private household in a similar role with checkable references.  You will need to speak Brazilian Portuguese and be super child friendly as well as a good cook as you will need to be able to cook a family style meal every day. Having a driver’s license is an advantage.

Days of Work, and Salary

• 8/9am to 5/6pm (hours to be discussed)
• Monday – Friday (but they are open to discussing alternatives)
• Immediate Start
• £18-£20 per hour net with PAYE and a full-time contract
