Live-in Horse/ Country loving Nanny- £35k Gross neg Jan 2025 start

A Fabulous position for a rural loving Nanny. Own bed and bath separate part of the residence with own staircase - plus use of stables and flat in London on days off.
  
Family Description and Location
 
A lovely British Family with two children aged 5 and 7 years are looking a horse loving individual to come and be part of their family. The family live in a lovely country house ,have a pool and have stables in a rural location near a village called Robertsbridge, East Sussex.  The house is set in surrounding land and has a pool, 1 hours away from Gatwick airport and 1.5 hours away from central London by train or car. You will only be responsible for feeding and turning out the children’s 1-2 Ponies/ horses.  The family have a daily cleaner,  there is no deep cleaning with this position and the family are looking to get a dog.  
 
Job Description
 
The family are looking for a reliable and energetic person who can care first and foremost for two lovely children, keep the home running smoothly, care for animals (currently a pony but plans to get more animals) and generally tidy around. All nursery duties, meal planning, and household shopping,  some grooming , mucking out and feeding the Pony and possibly a horse, dealing with contractors and ensure the home is organised.
You will provide attentive care for the two children, cooking their meal and organising snacks,  planning age-appropriate activities to support their development, complete school runs, household shopping/ stock take, and errand running, create weekly meal plans, organising clothing and school equipment/ uniforms, tidying play area and keeping the kitchen clean after meals, general daily household tidying and organising.  There is no deep cleaning with this position only general tidy.
 
Candidate Requirements
 
Candidates should be outdoorsy, animal loving, positive and friendly, and be able to communicate well with the family and contractors, teachers, and other child related professionals.  Ideal candidates will have an interest in education, be able to assist with homework, be organised and have a “muck in” approach. A proactive person with lots of energy, a happy disposition and a love for rural living would suit this role. You will need to have good checkable references and be a confident driver.  
Must love animals and all things country!
 
 
Days of Work, Accommodation and Salary
 

• Monday to Friday
• 7am-7pm with a lunch hours and appropriate breaks, depending on schedule ( longer breaks during the school term time -depending on time management ) 
• 1-2 nights babysitting and some overtime by arrangement inc
• Private en-suite bedroom in a separate part of the house with its own staircase.
• Automatic Car available for use on and off duty 
• Use of a flat in London for days off. 

• £35k net negotiable with a contract and PAYE and Pension. 
• Jan 2025 start
