Live-in Filipino Housekeeper for Professional British Couple Private Flat | M - F | £45–£50K DOE

Family Description and Location: 

A warm and welcoming British couple are seeking a reliable, experienced Filipino  Housekeeper to manage the upkeep of their modern, beautifully finished home in Surrey. The household is relaxed but highly organised, with two teenage children who attend boarding school and no pets.
The family live in a secure, well-maintained residential community that’s well connected by public transport and offers excellent bus links to a nearby train station with direct services into central London.
They travel frequently throughout the year, so this role is ideal for someone who is comfortable running a household independently and proactively.

Job Description:

You’ll be the sole Housekeeper, responsible for maintaining the home to a consistently high standard. The property features luxury materials and specialist finishes (including marble, polished wood, and metal surfaces), so knowledge of high-end housekeeping techniques is a must.
Your duties will include:

• Daily cleaning and tidying of all rooms
• Laundry and ironing, including delicate fabrics and hand-washing
• Organising wardrobes and linen cupboards
• Receiving deliveries and liaising with maintenance professionals
• Managing recycling and home organisation
• Light kitchen clearing when the family is home during school holidays
• Supporting the family occasionally with guests or events (with notice)

There is no cooking required in this role.

Candidate Requirements:

This role is best suited to someone with experience working in a high-spec private household, who takes pride in their work and can self-manage when the family is away.
The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous long-term housekeeping experience in a private home
• Excellent knowledge of cleaning luxury materials and finishes
• Strong English communication and organisational skills
• Trustworthy references
• A hands-on, proactive approach
• Basic technical confidence to manage home systems and report issues

Days of Work, Accommodation and Salary:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm
• Evening Support: Light evening clearing (only during school holidays when the children are home)
• Accommodation: Self-contained, fully furnished studio flat within the property (private side entrance, kitchenette, bathroom, and shower)
• Salary: £45,000–£50,000 gross per annum, depending on experience
• Package: Full legal employment with contract, tax and NI paid, and benefits package
• Start Date: As soon as possible – but happy to wait for the right candidate
