This is a special role for someone who is looking for a peaceful home in Earls Court with light duties for a lovely old lady with NO HOUSEKEEPING OR COOKING BUT COMPANIONSHIP FOR A LADY.

Family Description and Location

A mature British Lady is looking for a Mature Tagalog speaking Carer companion to live with her. She lives in a large apartment very near to Earls Court station where Princess Diana lived as a young girl!! It is a very secure block with a 24 hour porter and private access to a very large garden square. Its is a very short walk from Earls court station.  There are two daily housekeepers that come to cover every day  on weekdays and do all the cooking, laundry and all the housekeeping.  The lady is totally mobile and needs very little assistance with dressing and not with bathing.  

Job Description

·       Your role will start each day when the housekeeper leaves ( as noted the housekeepers come on weekdays : some days at12 and some days at 4pm.)   You will serve the Principle her meals that have been prepared by the housekeeper, tidy the kitchen etc.
·       You will make sure that the Principle is comfortable and escort her to bed, serve her tea, make hot water bottle and keep her company in the afternoons  after the housekeeper has left, and evening until she goes to bed.
·       You will close the curtains and blinds, check everything  off kitchen and make sure that the front door is locked etc.
·       Most importantly you will be required to be in the house in the evenings/ nights   to make sure that if she has a fall in the night that you contract the porter to call an ambulance etc.  
·       The Principle likes her space also, so will watch TV, sit at her desk and talk on phone also - afternoons it is not necessary to keep her company every moment - just be there and offer tea,
·       Please note the weekends there are no housekeepers, so the role will be full time duty for Saturday and Sunday - as said, the Principle likes her space so will spend time watching TV and talking on phone and sitting at her desk.
·       A daily walk in the Building's large and beautiful private gardens ( internal access from building and large lift) is requested with the Principle. Sitting on a bench sometimes briefly to rest- there are many benches! The Principle uses a walking stick and one can hold one arm for comfort and support.

Candidate Requirements

It is essential that you have experience of working for a mature person in a similar setting and have excellent references. We will pay for and run an enhanced DBS police check for you. Ideally you will live in the house for 7 nights a week but still be able to leave the house daily. (to be discussed) The Principle likes her space also

Days of Work, Accommodation and Salary

• You will have your own bedroom and bathroom and private access to a stunning garden
• All bills and food will be paid for
• Salary is negotiable dependent on how many days you would like to be on duty.
• Hours of work will be Tuesday and Thursday: 12 – 10pm (housekeeper is on duty from 9am – Midday)
• Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 3.30/ 4pm – 10pm  (housekeeper is on duty from 9am – 3.30/ 4pm)
• Saturday and Sunday 9am – 10pm with large breaks in the day.
• PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU CAN LEAVE THE HOUSE IN THE DAY
