A Mayfair-based company managing a portfolio of private and commercial properties across Central and West London is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee building operations and compliance across multiple sites.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage maintenance and compliance for multiple commercial properties.
- Lead major and minor projects, including renovations and upgrades, while managing budgets.
- Ensure compliance with all building regulations, health & safety standards, and risk assessments.
- Oversee mechanical, electrical, fire safety, and general facility systems.
- Supervise contractor visits, ensuring quality service and adherence to company standards.
- Maintain and manage Building Management Systems (BMS), including Samsung, Mitsubishi, Siemens Desigo, and Trend.
- Work closely with internal teams to enhance facility operations.
- Manage security, fire safety, and general property oversight.
- Occasionally travel outside London as required.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Strong background in commercial and private property maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge of building compliance, safety regulations, and BMS systems.
- Hands-on, proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Certifications in Working at Height & Manual Handling (MEWP/IPAF preferred).
Work Schedule, Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: £50,000+ (negotiable DOE)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday with flexibility for weekend emergencies.
